Web for Candidates — FIME UANL (2026–2029)

I put the candidates' public information and proposals in one place: clear summaries, links to the sources, and a design that reads fast. Transparency Neutrality Accessibility

Priorities
  • Neutrality
  • Readability
  • Verifiability

Short summary

This page gathers and summarizes public information about the candidates for the directorship of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (FIME, UANL) for the 2026–2029 period. There was a lot of uncertainty in the community and the same questions kept coming up, so I put the essentials in one place, with no noise and no side-taking.

Real purpose

Letting anyone get to know the candidates and vote informed. There was one rule: keep everything compact, verifiable, and neutral. Facts, proposals, and links to the sources for whoever wants to dig deeper.

Main features

  • Clear summary per candidate
  • Static, fast design
  • Priority on readability

Design and accessibility

Built to read fast: legible type, clear hierarchy, simple navigation. The HTML is semantic, so it also works well with screen readers.

Challenges and lessons

  • Summarizing institutional language and long proposals without changing what they mean.
  • Not sneaking bias in through the order or emphasis of the information.
  • Organizing everything so comparing and checking against the sources was easy.

Impact and portfolio value

What I take from this project is concrete: turning tangled public information into something clear and verifiable. That's how I like to work when the project serves a real community.
